Coach Ronaldo
Hi, I’m Coach Ronaldo. I started playing soccer at the age of five, and from a very young age, the game gave me something much bigger than just a sport—it gave me a sense of community.
No matter the language, background, or skill level, soccer has always been a place where I felt welcome and connected to others. Now, at 29 years old, I’m passionate about creating that same experience for the next generation.
As a coach, my goal is not just to develop young players’ soccer skills, but to help them build confidence, friendships, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game. I believe soccer should be a place where every child feels included, supported, and excited to participate.
My coaching style focuses on putting fun first. While learning and development are important, I believe children learn best when they are enjoying themselves, feeling comfortable, and building positive relationships with their teammates.
Through Central Park Kickers, I hope to create a welcoming community where kids can play, make friends, stay active, and experience everything that makes soccer such a special game.
Whether a child is touching a soccer ball for the very first time or already has experience playing, my goal is to make sure every player leaves each session with a smile and looking forward to coming back.
Brian McFarland
As a lifelong athlete, Brian is passionate about helping children and adults improve their health, confidence, and quality of life through fitness while creating an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere where all members feel challenged, supported and inspired to return.
Brian also competes regularly in competitive soccer as a GK and has played semi-professionally.
